Shawnee Smith has a reputation as an American singer and actor, best known for her roles in the 'Saw' film series as well as 'Becker.' Shawnee is also often referred to as"the "scream queen" because of the amount of horror movies she's been in. Also, she is well-known as a character in Stephen King's novel 'The Stand. She has appeared in several television series, including "Cagney and Lacey Married with Children, Murder, She Wrote, and Players. She fronted the punk/metal band 'Fydolla Ho' in the beginning of 2000, which she toured throughout the US as well as the UK. The early 2000s saw she was a part of Smith & Pyle a country-rock desert band' that included Missi Pyle. The band's debut album was titled It's OK to Be happy and was recorded in Joshua Tree. They disbanded the band due to their hectic careers in acting and their personal lives. Shawnee plays a wide variety of instruments, including guitar piano and drums. She sang as a soloist on the soundtrack for 'Catacombs'.
