Linda Edna Cardellini's parents include businessmen Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). They were born in Redwood City in California. Linda is Italian (from paternal grandsons), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda was the youngest of four in San Francisco Bay, California. As a ten-year-old old, she became enthralled with acting after performing the role of a singer in the Christmas show at her school. Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989) more popularly known as the stage name Lily James, is an English actress from the UK. She trained as an actor in the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and began her career on the British television series Just William (2010). Her breakout moment came in the year 2015, when she portrayed the role of lead in Cinderella the film of fantasy. She had previously played the role of Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period drama Downton Abbey. James was then cast as Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV adaptation of War & Peace in 2016. James has appeared in a variety of films, including Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018. She also appeared in The Dig 2021, as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! We're Back (2019) and Yesterday (2018). Pam & Tommy, a biographical television series based on the life of Pamela Anderson (released in 2022), earned her nominations for a Golden Globe Award winner and a Primetime Emmy Award.
