Ana Paula Oliveira was born on the 26th of May 1978 in Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is a well-known actress by her roles in Woman on Top (2000) Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed to The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. She is currently the manager of the Assassination Witness Project, and is a major part of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. The GI TOC's research focuses on murders (including disappearances) as well as violence and other types of crime with respect to illicit economy. Her interests in research also include the impact of organized criminality on human rights, as well as the impact of legislation and policies.
